MERS: Holder of all the Spoils

Note: I wanted to posted this article in full from bluegrassforeclosure.com The main takeaway is that MERS holds all the land titles. Who gives them authority to do so? How do they know who the originator is? This mortgages were so sliced and diced by Wall Street that we don’t know who owns what or how they own it and what piece. Eric Schneiderman has the regulatory authority to investigate MERS, when will the subpoenas start coming down. What the heck is MERS, anyway? October 11th, 2010 This original post can be found at Examiner.com . As we have reported, a federal lawsuit has been filed against banks and MERS. The suit alleges, among other things, that the banks and MERS conspired to file foreclosures against homes that the banks did not actually have a lien against. Confused yet? Don’t worry, I am too. I’ll try to shed some light on what the HECK is MERS anyway . . . ? Kentucky is a title lien state, wherein title is actually held by the owner of the real property. Then a bank o...

San Bernardino watch your Assets

Let’s face it San Bernardino, Million Air is a boondoggle. Weak oversight and miniscule internal controls have left this sucker ripe for the plucking. And pluck they did. Our elected officials should have turned it into a logistics airport instead. Supply chain management is one of the pieces of the Inland Empire’s strategic movement to becoming an economic powerhouse. However, strong and visionary leadership is required to pull off the quest to greatness. San Bernardino has many assets that can transform this city into a more modern and robust city. We must leverage them.

Conservative Rap Game

I probably had to be there to get the full effect, but a couple of things I wanted to note: The use of “Niqqas” instead of Niggas when referring to black people. These guys are Conservatives white guys rapping. They are rapping from the viewpoint of the Founding Fathers. Sparse crowd waving hands like it’s a rock concert. Love the old lady, hilarious! These are Conservative white guys rapping! Look out Eminem…

31st CD: The Politics of Inevitability

What do a political science professor from the University of Redlands,  and reporters from the Los Angeles Times, and Politico have in common? They all declare Redlands Mayor Pete Aguilar as one of the top two in the June primary race even though there are approx. two months left to go. As far as I am concerned, from a grassroots level, Mr. Aguilar doesn’t have a lock on anything. This is because even though the race has been sleepy so far, organization plays a big part in close elections (and this race will be close). He has won some endorsements from local political players but these folks live outside the district. Outside of Redlands, who has heard of Mr. Aguilar? I may be at a moderate level of expertise when it comes to politics, but I know that politics is full of surprises. He has a 1 in 6 chance of winning, like the rest of the field.

Wall St. and the Banksters are unpopular when….

Republicans have to attack Pres. Obama using attack ads linking him to the banks. I have no doubt that Dems and Reps are in bed with Wall St. Just look at Joe Baca and the Blue Dog Coalition. Even some of the Progressives been enticed by Wall Street money. When it comes to Wall Street and the Banksters, it’s Occupy White House and Occupy Congress.
